Funny Toilet Race

Portable toilet race is one of Lithuanian funny winter activities, and is held in the event of "Air Circus" before or after the beginning of March.

This bio-toilet slalom happens every year on the frozen lake in Traikai, Lithuania. But this unusual competition had to be held on rainy way due to warm winter in this year.

Lithuanian Easter Eggs

One week ago I visited very interesting exhibition of Easter eggs by Marija Banikoviene in Vilnius. She is 80 years old. I was deeply impressed by her wonderful works. Lithuanians call a naturally dyed and colored egg markutis. It symbolizes the rebirth of nature, the creation of life, the birth of plants and rejuvenation. Please enjoy beautiful eggs colored by the Lithuanian artist Marija Banikovienė.
