Papercutting for Self-cultivation

I met a paper cutting artist at the Vivattur 2008 (International Trade Fair of Tourism, Sports and Leisure) in Vilnius, Lithuania. The displayed works of the artist Ingrida impressed me so much.

I was really surprised by her skilled paper cutting.

Lithuanian Easter Eggs

One week ago I visited very interesting exhibition of Easter eggs by Marija Banikoviene in Vilnius. She is 80 years old. I was deeply impressed by her wonderful works. Lithuanians call a naturally dyed and colored egg markutis. It symbolizes the rebirth of nature, the creation of life, the birth of plants and rejuvenation. Please enjoy beautiful eggs colored by the Lithuanian artist Marija Banikovienė.
