Beautiful Girls and Strong Men of Lithuania

The World Strong Men Team Competition 2007 was held on 7th October in Vilnius, Lithuania.

I was convinced that not only many beautifu girls, but also many strong men live in Lithuania. The strongest man in the world is lithuanian Zydrunas Savickas.

Lithuanian Easter Eggs

One week ago I visited very interesting exhibition of Easter eggs by Marija Banikoviene in Vilnius. She is 80 years old. I was deeply impressed by her wonderful works. Lithuanians call a naturally dyed and colored egg markutis. It symbolizes the rebirth of nature, the creation of life, the birth of plants and rejuvenation. Please enjoy beautiful eggs colored by the Lithuanian artist Marija Banikovienė.
